I have finally gotten around to reading more novels by V. E. Schwab! Everything I’ve read by V. E. Schwab so far has been amazing (expect a lot of reviews of her novels soon!), and I’ve heard a lot of good things about her A Darker Shade of Magic trilogy. So, I was very fortunateContinueContinue reading “Book Review: A Darker Shade of Magic by V. E. Schwab (Shades of Magic #1)”

Book Review: Wrath of the Triple Goddess (Percy Jackson and the Olympians #7) by Rick Riordan
Reading PJO as a child, then as a teenager, and now, here I am still reading it as an adult. These novels will always have a special place in my heart and I still find myself enjoying and laughing along with these novels even as I get older. So, it should come as no surpriseContinueContinue reading “Book Review: Wrath of the Triple Goddess (Percy Jackson and the Olympians #7) by Rick Riordan”

Book Review: Heir by Sabaa Tahir
I saw a lot of rave reviews for this novel by some of my favourite reviewers. So, I immediately bumped this novel up my TBR list. I am proud that my TBR list is getting shorter, however, it feels like there’s a never-ending supply of newer novels that I want to read. So, after puttingContinueContinue reading “Book Review: Heir by Sabaa Tahir”
Book Review: The Darkest Minds by Alexandra Bracken
This was a novel I discovered after I watched the film adaptation. I randomly came across it on Netflix and I truly had no idea it was based on a book. Book Review: Frankenstein by Mary Shelley (OwlCrate Exclusive Edition)
I don’t often re-read novels, however, this one was that I HAD to re-read. The first time I properly read this novel was for one of my university English classes. The second time I read this novel is now: which is out of pure interest and pleasure. I had always been intrigued by Mary Shelley,ContinueContinue reading “Book Review: Frankenstein by Mary Shelley (OwlCrate Exclusive Edition)”
Book Review: Spice Road by Maiya Ibrahim
I discovered this book because my Instagram algorithm is getting a little bit too good and finding me content that I like. I was in the mood for high fantasy/epic fantasy/historical fantasy novels and the algorithm figured that out, and Maiya Ibrahim’s posts started to appear on my explore page. So, naturally, I looked intoContinueContinue reading “Book Review: Spice Road by Maiya Ibrahim”
